Ceramics: Open Session - Saturday

Due to popular demand! We have extended our Open Sessions to include Saturdays

Time: 2:30pm - 5:30pm

Location: Omega Centre, Portsmouth, PO5 4LP

Open Sessions are for non-ceramics-members, these sessions will have a tutor available to answer any questions and do simple demonstrations.

Do be aware that Open Sessions are supervised free experimentation sessions and have limited taught content.

Although you are welcome to use the wheel if you already have some wheel throwing experience, these sessions are not designed for complete beginners to the wheel. Consider booking a throwing taster session or book onto our 6 week wheel throwing foundation course to gain this experience.

We reserve the right to not fire items that pose a risk to equipment.
We will not glaze fire items that have been brought in from home

Session size: 6 Participants and 1 Staff

Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, remove jewellery and wear sensible footwear.
We have aprons available for use during your session if required
