Ceramics: Open Session - Wednesday

Due to popular demand! We have Open Sessions on a Wednesday now!

Date: Wednesdays (Please select below)

Time: 5pm - 8pm

Location: Omega Centre, Portsmouth, PO5 4LP

Open Sessions are for non-ceramics-members, these sessions will have a tutor available to answer any questions and do simple demonstrations.

Do be aware that Open Sessions are supervised free experimentation sessions and have limited taught content.

Although you are welcome to use the wheel if you already have some wheel throwing experience, these sessions are not designed for complete beginners to the wheel. Consider booking a throwing taster session or a wheel throwing weekend to gain this experience.

We reserve the right to not fire items that pose a risk to equipment.
We will not glaze fire items that have been brought in from home

Open Sessions are a great opportunity for non-members to explore ceramics and get some guidance from a tutor. Just be aware of the limitations and guidelines in place to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Session size: 6 Participants and 1 Staff

Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, remove jewellery and wear sensible footwear.
We have aprons available for use during your session if required
